Start a group call

Start a group audio or video call with the OpenIM iOS SDK.

Copy

A group call invites only the members explicitly included in inviteeUserIDList. Providing a groupID does not automatically invite every group member.

OIMInvitationInfo *invitation = [OIMInvitationInfo new];
invitation.inviteeUserIDList = selectedGroupMemberIDs;
invitation.groupID = groupID;
invitation.roomID = groupID;
invitation.timeout = 30;
invitation.mediaType = @"video";

[[OIMManager manager] signalingInviteInGroup:invitation
                              offlinePushInfo:nil
                                    onSuccess:^(OIMInvitationResultInfo * _Nullable credentials) {
    if (credentials != nil) [self joinMediaRoom:credentials];
}
                                     onFailure:^(NSInteger code, NSString * _Nullable message) {
    [self showCallError:code message:message ?: @"Failed to start the group call"];
}];

groupID must not be empty. This example uses the group ID as roomID. If your application generates its own room ID, every participating client must use the same value. busyLineUserIDList means that some members are busy; it should not prevent invitations from proceeding for other members.
